During 1820, Canada, Nova Scotia, Halifax. The Regiment remained here with, in 1821, detachments at Cape Breton, Prince Edward Island and Halifax (Annapolis and Windsor)

During Feb 1820, St Helena. Lancashire Fusiliers Headquarters relieved by the 66th at Deadwood Barracks, and the 66th returned to Jamestown

During Mar 1820, Ireland, Butterant. Headquarters was transferred here, with detachments deployed to Brieff, Charlesville, Newcastle and Rathkeale

On 8 June 1820, Ireland, Connaught. Regiment marched to the district of Connaught and deployed detachments to Ballynamore, Castle Blakeney, Clonfert, Cultragh, Kilcomnel, Killogue, Laurencetown, Meelich and Shannon Bridge

During May 1821, Ireland, Connaught. All detachments withdrawn from this district. Detachments deployed to Carlow, Duncannon Fort, Wexford and Wicklow
1821-05-21
On 21 May 1821, St Helena. Regiment (Headquarters plus two companies and regimental band) embarked on 'Camel'. On 24 May the rest of the Regiment began to embark for the voyage home. The 'Camel' reached Spithead on 31 July, the rest of regiment arriving shortly after. The 'Camel' continued to Chatham on 13 August, where the Regiment disembarked, the last detachment disembarking on 20 August.

On 22 Sept 1821, England, Hull. Regiment marched from Chatham on 20 March and reached Hull on 22 September and detached one company to Scarborough

On 2 Nov 1821, Ireland, Clonmel. Detachment under Major Hutchinson sent here because of disturbances in the neighbourhood. On the same day all detachments were drawn in and embarked on the brigs 'Skeen', 'John', 'Hope' and 'Betsy'

On 5 Nov 1821, England, Bristol. Regiment reached Bristol. Over the 7 and * November it left Bristol for Chatham, arriving there over 18 and 19 November

On 3 Dec 1822, England, Chatham. The left wing embarked for Africa on the 'Thomas Coutts', an Indiaman. On 7 December Headquarters and the right wing embarked on the 'William Fairlie'. Both ships reached Table Bay on 1 March 1823, but troops on the 'William Fairlie' were put in quarantine for measles at Robben Island

On 4 Mar 1823, South Africa, Capetown. Left wing landed. A detachment was deployed to Simonstown the same day, and was called in on 24 December

On 30 Mar 1823, South Africa, Robben Island. Headquarters and right wing left the Island after quarantine

On 4 May 1822, England, Tynemouth. One company from Hull marched here. The next day six companies were deployed to Sunderland and one company to Carlisle.

During July 1822, Scotland, Edinburgh. The six companies from Sunderland and Headquarters sent here to do duty during visit of George IV, returning to Sunderland during September.

During Mar 1823, England, Liverpool. Regiment was ordered to Ireland, waiting at Liverpool for two days, bad crossing. The Regiment marched to Cavan from Dublin, with one wing deployed there and one wing deployed to Enniskillen.

On 25 Aug 1823, Canada, Nova Scotia, Halifax. The Regiment embarked for England on 25 August, 13 and 18 September, arriving at Portsmouth on 17 September, 7 and 8 October.
