On 2 July 1908, Wales, Pembroke Dock. Battalion (21 Officers, two Warrant Officers and 532 Rank and File) by rail to Parkhouse Camp Salisbury Plain for Field Firing and Training.
On 9 July 1908, England, Bristol. Detachment (Three Officers, one Warrant Officer and 100 Rank and File) lined streets of Bristol during visit of King and Queen.
On 16 Sept 1908, Ireland, Curragh. Battalion marched to Craigaverne House Camp, near Monasteravern for Divisional Training. On 17 September Training Operations and inspection cancelled due to weather, the Battalion marched back to Curragh the next day.
On 7 Oct 1908, Wales, Pembroke Dock. Battalion embarked on SS 'Southern' and sailed from Hobbs' Point, Pembroke Dock for Ireland, arrived the same day at Rossclare and entrained for Dublin, where they marched to quarters in Portobello Barracks.
On 14 Oct 1908, Ireland, Dublin. Detachment (Two Officers and 48 Men) arrived from Penkelly, Pembrokeshire, where they had been in isolation for measles.
