A paperback book of 396 pages. with the addition of a Battalion Overview, a Roll Of Honour, Awards and Decorations, the Organisation of Battle and an Index makes this latest edition an improved version. This book is for all those with an interest in the 1st Wiltshires during World War 1. The original diary is only to be seen at the National Archives at Kew, London, so publishing this transcript will assist all those who are interested and also hopefully reduce the demand to see the originals. This revised publication and a transcription of the Battalion War Diary for the period August 1914 – April 1919 together with some of the Operational Orders will hopefully give as complete a picture as possible.
