World at War Weekend at The Wardrobe- 13th & 14th September 2025
Prepare for a taste of trench life as the First World War comes to The Wardrobe!
We'll be joined by groups from the brilliant 'Great War Society', as well as the 'Wiltshires in the Great War' living history group on both the Saturday and Sunday as they show you the life of an everyday infantry soldier during the First World War. As well as their battle encampments, these fantastic groups will be displaying uniform, equipment and weaponry from the era and demonstrating a variety of skills utilised in the field by these soldiers.
This event is entry by donation. All donations will go towards the museum and our colleciton.
Please note that dogs (other than service) are not permitted in our garden.
