Unit signs from Northern Ireland
We had a very special delivery at the Wardrobe a few days ago, when some unit signs from Northern Ireland were delivered to the museum. As you are probably aware, the bases are gradually being demolished. Thankfully, some one has realised how much the unit signs meant to those who served in the bases and have made sure that they can go to their respective museums.
We intend to put ours on display, rather than tuck them away in the reserve collection.
