.The penultimate freedom parade for the RGBWLI took place in Salisbury on Saturday 14th October. There was an excellent turnout to watch the 1st Battalion form up on Choristers Green in the Cathedral Close. The image is of the two guards flanking the Colours, with the Wiltshire Army Cadet Force Contingent and the Light Division Band flanking them.

In a brave move the Old Comrades decided to march all the way and followed the 1st Battalion out of the Close via St Anne Gate. Many people lined the route from the High Street and there was much applause for those on parade, especially the Old Comrades. After an 'eyes right!' in front of the War Memorial in the Market Square, the parade made its way into the Guildhall, where refreshments and beer were laid on.
