Rifleman Paul Donnachie
The Ministry of Defence has announced the latest casualty of the war in Iraq as Rifleman Paul Donnachie who was born in Reading, Berkshire.
Rifleman Donnachie was a Royal Gloucestershire, Berkshire and Wiltshire Light Infantry recruit and had joined the 2nd Battalion The Rifles only in December 2006. He was killed on Sunday 29th April 2007 during a routine patrol in the Al Ashar district of Basra City.
The Riflemen in the Wardrobe museum staff and volunteers would like to express our sadness at this news and would like to send our heartfelt sympathy to all his family.
