Our annual Living History Festival is back!
Take a walk through time with our annual living history re-enactment extravaganza! This weekend event is all about bringing you closer to history, with re-enactment groups from a wide variety of eras giving you a taste of the past.
You'll be able to walk through encampments from each group whilst they showcase a range of equipment, clothing, uniform and weaponry from their era.Groups will also be taking part in various demonstrations, showcasing vital skills from their era, such as weapons handling and marching.
This event is entry by donation. All donations from the event go towards the museum and our galleries.
Please note that dogs (other than service dogs) are not permitted in the garden.
