Interesting New Acquisition
An interesting new accession item has been donated to the Museum.
We have received a small miniature portrait of William Chandler of the 49th Regiment of Foot and it was taken in 1854, making this one of the oldest photographs we now have in our collection.
The picture has been digitised (scanned) and catalogued, and will be preserved in our photograph collection. The scanned copy will be printed off and used for display in the museum.
