Ready the cannons and get ready for the most explosive event of the year!
Come on down to The Wardrobe on the August Bank Holiday Weekend, (23rd-25th August) for our artillery-themed living history event. We'll have troops from the Royal Horse Artillery exhibiting artillery pieces and equipment from the artillery unit of the Duke of Wellington's Army. The Royal Horse Artillery will be setting up camp in our garden for the Bank Holiday, giving you a peak into life in the field and on campaign for an artillery soldier during the Peninsular War.
This event is entry by donation. All donations go towards the upkeep of the museum.
Please note that dogs are not permitted in the garden (not including service dogs).
