Specialists at Woolley and Wallis fine art auctioneers are teaming up with The Rifles (Berkshire and Wiltshire) Museum in Salisbury for a special valuation event in the Cathedral Close. Valuers from one of the UK’s leading auction houses will be on hand to look at medals and militaria, alongside silver, jewellery, ceramics, Asian Art, paintings and modern design items. Everyone is then invited into the museum itself from 5.30pm, where they can view some of the 34,000 plus artefacts that the museum holds and receive a valuation on any items that they have brought with them. Entry to the museum will be free, but a donation towards the museum’s funds will be requested – suggestion £5 for the first item to be valued and £2 thereafter.
