Family History search engines can produce results for service men prior to 1913.  The service records of the service men who served after 1920 are still held by the respective Armed Forces Personnel Departments.  But all it not lost Military Museums can help, so the talk is aimed at showing how a good military museum can assist in Family History Research post 1920 and also provide an insight into the records prior to 1913 and possible fill in those gaps created by the loss of the World War 1 service records.
