Entry B Company moved into battle positions with Coy HQrs at R.29 central and 80 men in the front line to carry ammunition for Stokes Guns. A, C and D moved into their positions in rear. The remaining Battalion of the Brigade began to form up for the attack at dawn. There was considerable hostile shelling during the night. Casualties CAPTAIN N WEST. Killed LIEUT J W JEAKES Wounded OR's 1 killed and 4 wounded.
