| Entry | Marched to YPRES 16 miles. Started 6am. Halted outside and W of YPRES at 12.45PM and remained there waiting for orders till 3PM, as heavy firing was going on just E of the town. We then went into billets in a diamond cutting factory. Heavy rifle and gun firing continued through night to our front. |
