| Entry | Relieved 22 Royal Fusiliers in BERTHONVAL NORTH at 10.30pm. Dispositions in this subsector were: 3 Coys Front Line, 1 Coy reserve. Since the last tour of the Battalion in this subsector a great deal of work had been done in the front line system of trenches and a very good line constructed. The night was quiet save for occasional machine gun activity on the part of the enemy. Weather fair. |
