| Entry | Brigade training at J31. (attached to this sheet is the Battn and Bgd operation order). The Brigade formed up and carried out a preliminary attack at 9.15am which went off successfully. At 11.6 am this was repeated. The Corps Commander, Divisional General and the other Brigade and Artillery staff of the Division were present. After the assault there was a short conference at which the Divn Commander expressed himself as being satisfied with the way in which the mornings work had been done. Battn returned to billets about 1pm. Weather warm. |
