| Entry | Day quiet except for machine gun playing in the evening. Relieved by 22nd RF, Relief complete 12.15am. Delay was caused by working parties for the RE being mixed up with companies moving in. On relief Coys marched to the hutments in the BOIS DE NOULETTE. The last Coy arriving at 3.30am, about which time a heavy bombardment could be heard on the right of SOUCHEZ. |
