| Entry | Brigade training. The scheme laid down was intended for a continuous 2 days work. The Battalion marched to BEAUMETZ-LEZ-AIRE arriving at 9.30am. The 23rd R F and ourselves were in reserve and did not move until 11am. We then advanced across country to Hill 179 and returned to billets about 3.15pm. Raining heavily. |
