Entry Quiet day. Relieved the 22nd Royal Fusiliers in SOUCHEZ RIGHT. Relief commenced from Battn HQ at 6.30pm and was completed by 10.15pm. Lovely night - relief very satisfactory, no shelling or machine gun fire during relief. Dispositions of Companies as follows:- C Coy right front line company, A Coy left front line company. D Coy support Company and B Coy Reserve Company. 23rd R Fusiliers were on our left and 47th Division on our right. Since our last tour the trenches were much improved and drier. 2nd Lieut Jackson to Div School. Lt Pugh to Div Bombing School.
