| Entry | Battn HQ was again shelled about 9.30am, this time lightly. About dusk 6 to 8 Germans approached sunken road with the apparent intention of bombing. Sec Lieut Chace and one bomber crept out and bombed them. They retired at once. Work of wiring and rebuilding parados continued. |
