| Entry | Battn HQ was shelled from 2.30 to 4.15 pm no damage was done but many of the shells were very close. 14 failed to explode. Wiring was carried out by the front line companies as the GOC 2nd Div had laid special stress on the necessity of the wire being good. Enemy was generally quiet except for rifle grenades opposite the saps. |
