Location France, LA TOURET
Entry Sunday. Voluntary Church parade. Baths allotted to the Battalion all day, A&B bathed in the morning, C&D in the afternoon. We had to supply fatigue parties to work in the Old British Line numbering in all 380. These worked in two reliefs and carried on the same work as the 23rd R F parties had done when we were in the line. The first relief left at 6.30pm the second at 10.30pm. The men of the second party did not arrive back in billets until 4.30am on the next morning 24th inst.
