Entry Coys paraded for physical training from 8.30 - 9.30. 10 - 12.45 was taken up with Coy and Platoon training on offensive lines. Also the latest reinforcements received special instruction in trench warfare i.e. gas attacks, tube helmets, digging of trenches, building of parapets, signals for gas and trench mortars, etc. Weather very cold but dry. Captain West leave to England for investiture with M.C. by the King 15th.
