| Entry | Work continued in front and support trenches. Working parties from 17th Middsx & 23rd RF were employed on 15 BOYAU, HIGH ST, WILSONS WAY & BURBURY ALLEY. About 11 am 12 trench mortars against the right Coy - silenced by our artillery. Also fired between 8.30 and 9 pm on the left Coy. Shelling light, enemy snipers quiet. One of our officers observed a man wearing a blue uniform and white cap opposite Mine Point. |
