Location | France, CAMBRIN |
Entry | Weather bad. Trenches became in very bad condition. Fell in in numerous places. It took the battalion all their time to mend the places which had fallen in. No men available for new work, Lewis Keep was also repaired. Enemy quiet. About 25 9" Howitzer shells fell near support Coy in Wimpole St - no damage. Our sniper got a German sniper who was heard to yell. One Coy 22 R Fusiliers relieved B Coy in Right Front Section B Coy to Annequin. |
