| Entry | Work. Our section of MUD TRENCH floored entire length with floor boards. Damage caused by bombardment repaired chiefly in NORTHAMPTON ST but also in STICKY TRENCH RIGHT and HAYWARDS HEATH. Further continuous work continued throughout the night: During our tour in the trenches the work of burying the dead was carried out as far as possible, a great quantity of stores, etc, were collected and registered in the battalion area. Lieut West proceeded on leave. |
