Entry 2 fatigues 20 and 1 NCO each for BHQ. Fatigue 150 men at 3.30 pm cancelled owing to bad weather. B Coy bathed in the morning and D Coy after dinners. 5 pm. Enemy guns put 10 HE 6 inch shells over the canal bridge at PONT FIXE. 2 men wounded, not seriously. General Daly arranged for us to tell the 81st Battery (through the 56th) directly enemy guns shelled PONT FIXE. Lieut Green back from leave. 2 casualties wounded.
