Entry The Battalion moved to ROVERE, leaving FARA at 4.20am, arriving ROVERE at about 5.45am. Companies and Details all in Italian bivouacs in orchard. The following is an extract from 145 INFANTRY BRIGADE Routine Orders:- MILITARY CROSS - 2/LT A O STOTT 1/4th Royal Berkshire Regiment. (Awarded in connection with the operation on the night of the 12/13th inst.) The Battalion moved to CORNEDO leaving ROVERE at 10pm - marching via THIENE - MALO - MOLINA - PRIA BONA arriving CORNEDO at 6.20am (22nd). All packs were carried on lorries. A very good march: no-one fell out. A halt was made from 1.45am to 3am when hot tea was issued. The new foliage has quite changed the look of the plain since we went up to the hills. Weather:- a very hot day. Remarks O.O. No 93 marked A9.
