Entry | We were relieved by the 1/4th OXFORDS and moved back to Reserve Positions - relief completed by 4pm. Dispositions:- A Company - LEFT D Company - CENTRE B Company - RIGHT C Company - SUPPORT Baths for 200 OR were allotted to the Battalion. Enemy artillery activity during the tour was very light. The trenches in the Sector were remarkable in as much as they are blasted out of solid rock - quite a contrast to the trenches to which we had hitherto been accustomed. Our Sector was heavily wooded and all reliefs etc could be carried out by daylight. Weather:- lovely day, cold wet night. Remarks O.O. No 91 marked A6 Dispositions see map attached marked "B2" 4 OR to Hospital sick. |
