| Entry | Work on improving trenches, constructing shelters, marking gas tracks etc. In view of probable raid on trenches and gun pits on the SPUR, 2 Officers and 12 OR left out line at 9.15pm for the purpose of ascertaining if the trenches and gunpits on the SPUR running SW of AVE were occupied by the enemy or not. The positions were thoroughly searched but no sign of the enemy could be found. Weather:- a fine day. |
