Regiment | 1/4th Royal Berkshire |
---|---|
Location | Italy, [Cornedo] |
Entry | The Battalion moved to ROVERE starting at 7am marching via MALO - THIENE arriving ROVERE about 3pm. The march was a very bad one, rain falling in torrents continuously during the march. The halt for one hour was made for dinners from 11am - 12 noon, cover being found in barns etc. The accommodation at ROVERRE was very poor, comprising tents and Italian bivouacs. These however could not be used owing to their being swamped and fresh billets had to be found in the village. Weather:- a very wet day, fine evening. Remarks O.O. No 82 attached "A5" 2/LT R A WICKENS to Fd Ambulance. |
