Entry Training in the morning only. An inspection of all pack animals was held by the GOC BRIGADE in the morning. All scouts of the BRIGADE practiced a short scheme in the morning. The Battalion Sports were held in the afternoon. (programme attached) It was a most successful afternoon, the weather was lovely, and all arrangements worked well under the Chairman of the Committee. The HQ of the ITALIAN DIVISION had just come into the village. The invitation to attend sent by the Commanding Officer was accepted by the STAFF. The DIVISIONAL GENERAL was unable to attend, but very kindly offered his band for the afternoon. At the conclusion of the sports the prizes were presented by SIGNORA PUGNALIN VAL SECCHI. After the presentation the Commanding Officer thanked her in the name of the Battalion for her kindness, and the two National Anthems brought the close to a good afternoon. Weather:- a lovely day.
