Location France, VERMELLES
Entry Two fatigue parties found of 75 men each under an officer to take bombs and sandbags to the 1st KRR and 2nd Worcesters. A party of 6 bombers sent to the 1st S Staffs. Trenches cleaned up as much as possible. The Adjutant went to the Welch Fusiliers who were in support on our left and arranged about the relief by the Kings Own Lancaster Regt 5th Btn. 9.30 pm The battalion marched over ground to the shrine in the Hulloch road and marched to billets at Le Quesnoy through Annequin and Beuvry. Soup was distributed after the battalion had passed through VERMELLES and tea on arrival at Le Quesnoy.
