Entry The transport, and the Loading Party of 1 Officer and 30 Other Ranks moved off from VILLA DEL BOSCO at 7am, followed by the remainder of "C" Company at 8am. The train which was due to depart at 10.10am from ABANO BAGNI did not eventually leave until 2pm. Working parties were found by "A" Company as under:- 20 Other Ranks at QUARRY. 20 Other Ranks at the XIV Corps Gas School. 12 Other Ranks unloading stone at the CONVENT. 12 Other Ranks cleaning up Army Wing. 10 Other Ranks on drainage work at the CONVENT. 6 Other Ranks unloading stone at the CONVENT. Weather:- a lovely day, hard frost at night. Remarks Operation Order attached marked "A6" RIGHT HALF BATTALION [Paese] Training continued. "C" Coy rejoined from GHQ Central School. Weather:- a lovely day, rather cold wind.
