Entry Holiday for both Companies, except for working parties as on the 16th. Divine Services were held at the CONVENT during the day. The usual inspections of arms and small kit were held - bathing the men and washing clothes. Orders were received from the OC CENTRAL SCHOOL that "C" Company would move back to rejoin the Battalion on Monday 18th, and would entrain at ABANO BAGNI at 10.10am. "C" Company again played the CYCLIST BATTALION at Football losing by 2 goals to 3. Weather:- a very cold windy day and night. RIGHT HALF BATTALION [Paese] Usual platoon inspections. The half Battalion paraded at 11am and marched to BADOERE to witness the Football Match versus the 5th Sussex in the "Fanshawe" Cup. We lost two goals to one. Weather:- a fine day, with very keen wind.
