| Entry | Holiday for the men, except the party of NCOs and 15 men engaged on the transmission wires. Divine Services were held at the Convent during the day. The usual inspections of arms and small kit were held, bathing the men and washing clothes. A Football Match was played in the afternoon v XI Corps Reinforcement and Musketry School, on the ground of the School. We won 1 Goal to nil - a very good game. Weather:- a lovely day, cold night. Remarks A Reinforcement of 4 OR joined the Detachment. RIGHT HALF BATTALION Villa Jonoch Usual rifle inspections in the morning, also inspection of small kit. Both Companies and Details bathed. Weather:- a fine day. |
