Location Italy, [S Croce Bigolina]
Entry Training, - the BRIGADE route-marched, units moving to NOVE independently, then forming up with their transport etc and throwing out outposts. HQ, "A" and "D" Companies only went out, the other two Companies marching for their clothing to be disinfected. It was very heavy going as the thaw had made the roads very soft, and the crown of the road in many cases being cut through by the Transport. The Battalion left at 8.30am, returning about 3pm. The Commanding Officer with the Company Commanders went up to the mountains for reconnaissance on the MALCROBA District. Weather:- a fine day. Remarks Weekly State attached marked "A6"
