Entry The Commanding Officer inspected all Companies in iron rations, knives, razors and greatcoats. Light training only was carried out, as a rest was badly needed, especially by "A" and "D" companies, and for repairs to boots etc. We received orders in the afternoon to be ready to move at two hours notice. Weather:- a lovely day, very cold night. Remarks CAPT G C W GREGORY rejoined the Battalion. 2 OR to hospital sick. Weekly State attached marked A2"
