Entry The BRIGADE moved forward. We moved to VILLAFRANCA via MONTEGALDA - GRISTIGNANO- POJANA - CAMPODORO leaving at 9am, arriving at 1pm. A good day and roads for marching. One lorry per Battalion carried the blankets, a double journey being made. Billets in the village were good. (BUCKS to MARSANGO - OXFORDS to CAMPO ST. MARTINO - GLOUCESTERS to CAMPODORO) Weather:- a lovely day, cold night. Remarks 2/LTS H G BUCHANAN, S W REED, F H MANN, H T WEVILL, R A BRAKE and O A STOTT went down to the Base at ARQUALA as only 30 Officers were allowed to remain with the Battalion. 8 OR to hospital sick.
