Entry FIRST HALF BATTALION The day was spent in general cleaning up, physical training, bayonet fighting et.c The transport was sent back to SALETTO for the second blanket which had been dumped there. Brigade Headquarters arrived in the evening and were billeted in the CHATEAU and vVllage. Weather:- a lovely day, cold night. Remarks 3 OR went to hospital sick. Weekly state attached marked "A1" SECOND HALF BATTALION We moved from BONAVIGO at 11am, arriving at PRESSANO at 2pm. Touch was gained with the First Half Battalion after 9 days. Billets were clean and commodious, although not too warm - HQ, Stores and Transport in CHATEAU - "A" and "D" in farmhouses. Weather:- lovely day, cold night.
