| Entry | We assisted the 31st DIVISION in their raid on the RIGHT by letting off smoke, and working dummies in GABY. The result was fairly satisfactory, as later they shelled this trench. The enemy's guns were fairly active in reply. Our own Divisional guns assisted by firing on the MERICOURT Area. The following wire was received from the G.O.C. 31st DIVISION:- "31ST DIVISION wish to express their thanks for you help which contributed largely to the success of our Raid". Weather:- a fine day, rain at night. |
