Entry The Battalion moved from DAMBRE CAMP to ROAD CAMP, St. JAN TER BIEZEN, starting at 4.30pm. All packs were carried by lorries. The march was very hard going, the roads being very muddy, and rain falling practically the whole time. The Battalion were in at 8pm. The following Officers joined the Battalion for duty:- 2/LT F.H. RYLAND - 1/4th Royal Berkshire Regt. 2/LT E.E. MILLER - 3rd Wiltshire Regiment attch. 2/LT C.C.B. SMITH - Ditto 2/LT F.T. WHITTY - Ditto 2/LT J.C. CRAWFORD - Ditto 2/LT P.G. HANDFORD - Ditto Weather:- a very wet day. Remarks O.O. No "A9" Draft of 101 including 90 M.T. A.S.C. joined for duty. CAPT. G.C.W. GREGORY, LT K. JONES and 2/LTS J.W.CAWLEY, E.C.AYLETT and E.WALLIS rejoined from hospital. The Commanding Officer rejoined from HOUTERERQUE.
