Entry The Battalion moved to DAMBRE CAMP at 9.30am. Verbal orders were received at 2.30pm to take over the line, and the Battalion moved off in motor buses to ADMIRALS ROAD, leaving DAMBRE CAMP about 8pm. We took over the RIGHT SUBSECTOR Front Line dispositions which were held by four Battalions namely 1/4th OXFORDS, 1/5th WARWICKS,1/6th WARWICKS, and 1/8th WARWICKS. One company ("C" Company) was lent to the BUCKS taking over Support positions in the LEFT SUBSECTOR Front Line. Weather:- a very wet day. Remarks O.O. "A4" O.O.
