Entry Orders for the Battalion to move were received. The Battalion moved from AUDENFORT at 12 midnight 26/27th and marched to AUDRUICQ. Owing to the excellent behaviour of all ranks during their stay at AUDENFORT etc. the hostile attitude of the civilians, which had been so marked on our arrival, had completely disappeared, and we left with the goodwill of all. The Battalion entrained at AUDRUICQ at 5.30am, arriving at BRIELAN at 11.10am, from whence we marched to REIGERSBURG CAMP, moving forward the same evening. Dispositions BHQ at CHEDDAR VILLA. Companies entrenched in CALIFORNIA DRIVE, CANOPUS TRENCH and CALF RESERVE. Weather:- a fine warm day. Remarks O.O.No 66 attached marked "A2" "B1"
