Entry In billets. Training by Companies from 7 - 7.45 am and 9 am - 12.30 pm. We supplied a working party of 1 NCO and 20 under Bde Signalling Officer. A very warm day. Easterly wind in the morning, turned to south in evening. Companies bathed in a dyke in the morning. 2/Lt D G Ward took over command of machine gun section. Captain Radford DSO and Lieut Jerwood Machine Gun Officer went on leave to England. 2/Lt Blackburn admitted to hospital.
