| Entry | Brigade Church Parade was held in the morning. The Brigadier presented the medals for the Immediate Rewards won on the 16th August. 203771 Lance Corporal Stratton of "A" Company was awarded the Military Medal. Weather:- a showery morning - fine later. Remarks The Commanding Officer took over temporary command of the Brigade during the absence of the Brigadier on leave. MAJOR J N ALDWORTH MC Took over temporary command of the Battalion. 11 Reinforcements joined for duty. |
