| Entry | All day was spent in improving the accommodation. Rations came up by lumber to HILL TOP FARM (see map attached) and were then man-handled to the Companies. Drums only were taken up for cooking and hot tea was issued night and morning, and a hot meal once a day. Shelling again was incessant, day and night, chiefly heavy stuff. Weather:- a very hot day. |
