Entry The Brigade moved to Camp at DAMBRE FARM. We left at 10.40am. Arriving at 1.45pm. The roads were very heavy owing to the rain, making the going bad; the roads were full of traffic. The Camp had only just been pitched - only tents put up. According to the Scale (see appendix) all reinforcements were left at ST JAN-TER-BIEZEN. Commanding Officer and Company Commanders went to reconnoitre the line re Taking over from the 118th Brigade. The going was exceptional heavy, the ground being full of water. All operations had been stopped owing to the weather. Weather:- a fine morning, wet afternoon. Remarks A.1.
