Entry | The Brigade moved to HOUTKERQUE, entraining a MONDICOURT. We left BAILLEULVAL 8.30am. Arriving at MONDICOURT 12.30pm. Dinners were then eaten and the Battalion entrained. The entraining of the Brigade was excellently done, the RTO's congratulating the Brigade Entraining Officer on the quickness and smoothness of the operation. Our train left at 3.32pm. punctually: we were travelling via DOULLENS - St POL - HAZEBROUCK, arriving at GODEWAERSVELDE at 10.45pm. - a good journey to HAZEBROUCK, but slow onwards. On arriving at the detraining Station tea was issued and the Battalion moved off at 1.0am. Arriving in Camp at HOUTKERQUE at 4.15am. On the 23rd instant. All were sorry to leave BALLIEULVAL - it was an excellent training area. Weather:- a very hot day. Remarks: APPEN: A No 5 |
