Entry We were relieved by the OXFORDS, the relief being completed by 1am (1st). We returned to VELU CAMP, the last platoon being in by 3am. The going was very heavy, and an exceptionally dark night, - raining most of the time. The enemy's guns were quiet by day, but were most busy at night, shrapnel chiefly.
